In an shocking incident, park authorities of Bandhavgarh Park have found the dead body of tiger cubs inside the Tiger Reserve area. It was one out of three cubs of Jhurjhura tigress who was killed by jeep hit inside Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in 19/May/2010. Cub was killed by some mature tiger of Bandhavgarh due as cubs were not in enclosure. This unfortunate incident is a result in improper fencing of so called protected-area made for orphan cubs. Again human negligence results in Tiger loss.

As per the signals from Panna National Park, it seems second trans-located tigress (from Kanha Park) has produced 2 cubs. She is spending most of the time inside a cave, near water source in Bador Beat of Panna Tiger Reserve. Park authorities are watchful and keeping eye on the site. Some of the forest guards claims to have seen two cubs with mother tigress, close to their hideout. Confirmation is yet to received from authorities. We may expect pictures of new tiger cubs very soon. Wish them good luck.

20/May/2010: (Updated: 10/Aug/2010)Tigress killed by Safari Jeep in Bandhavgarh National Park
On Wednesday, 19/May/2010, a tigress found dead close to water source by the tourists. At first, forest official said that it was due to conflict between tigers or due to illness. But, as per postmortem report, tigress was hit more than once by some vehicle which was driven at approx. speed of 50-60km/hr. Body of Tigress was found by visitor tourists at around 07:30 AM during safari. As per postmortem report, tigress was hit at 3-4 hrs before the death time which means around 04:00 AM. As 04:00 AM is not the safari time.
Investigation is going on since May-2010 and still actual culprits are not visible. It seem forest department is in search of scapegoat to dispose off the case and shield the actual culprits.
